Ann Brewer

Ann began her career training under Tad, formerly a stylist and trainer at Yosh For Hair.
This rigorous training provided the foundation for her high-quality and creative work. She specializes in precision and creative cutting, advanced color, color correction and Keratin Complex smoothing therapy. In 2001 she opened Brewer-Phillips Hair Design, a Pacific Sun Hall of Fame award-winning salon.
Ann holds a degree in psychology from Dominican University and takes a great interest in getting to know her clients as individuals. She is a careful listener and works hard to create a style that fits the personality and lifestyle needs of each client.
Brewer-Phillips frequently hosts continuing education events to inspire other stylists and maintain its position as a leader in the industry. Ann’s one-on-one enthusiastic approach to teaching and training new stylists has created a coveted and successful Adssistants Program.

I When I moved to Marin, I agonized over finding a new hair salon. I expected the best salon in Marin to be a little snooty, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The owner, Ann Brewer, is a doll. In fact, the entire staff is as nice as can be.
I’m fussy about my hair and from my first visit, I was thrilled with my color, highlights and cut. I have since moved to the East Bay, but continue to drive to Marin to have my hair done at Brewer Phillips. I don’t let anyone else touch my hair.
